(5) If a student is enrolled in the course and fails to take any tests and does not withdraw from the course by the end of the semester, they will receive an F in the course. (4) If a student is enrolled in the course and fails to take any tests, the student will receive a WF if they withdraw from the course after the automatic WP date has passed. (3) If a student withdraws from the course after the automatic WP date has passed, the student’s average, as determined by averaging the student’s current grades, will be used to determine whether the student receives a WP (withdrawal passing) or WF (withdrawal failing). Instead, your fourth test (the modified comprehensive final exam) will count as a replacement for any missed tests. If you miss a test, you will not be allowed to take a make-up. If you know you will be absent on a certain day, you may take a test early (or at a different time on the same test day) provided you receive permission from the instructor. You are strongly encouraged to take all tests.
Questions will be in matching, multiple choice, and T/F format. Tests are based on 1) identification of terms and definitions, 2) lecture material and handouts of notes 3) textbook chapter reading assignments.
